| What's up my fellows?!
Life is good. It's my birthday soon and I've been thinking about all the years I've spent on this Earth. I have my two brothers, Mike and Hosung with me right now. I love them. But I'm scared. I'm scared that Hosung wants to be a smoker because he is obsessed with this lighter in his hand. I'm scared that Mike will be a womanizer because he just got a new money guitar. I'm not gonna lie...I'm jealous, jealous of both of them. Hosung and his boyish, sexy good looks that draw girls to KCPC with his awesome electric skills. Mike and his honey singing voice that sweetens a girl's day. And then there's me...with my ghetto door desk and fob glasses. They're better than me!...sniff sniff
I've got a funny story about my brother Hosung. The boy is good looking, and girls are initially attracted to him, but once he opens his mouth...it's game over. The boy is so socially awkward aroung yuhjas! This one time at church in the gym, Pastor Abe called him over to introduce him to a new girl his age (16). They said hi and all and then his awkwardness kicked in. They stood silent for awhile, then he nervously attempted to start conversation with this:
"So................do you go to school?"
The girl responded with:
".....yes...."
Then everything became a blur for him as his asthma kicked in and he had a hard time breathing. Poor Hosung. He'll never be like his older brother, Mike. The man is a chick magnet. Every time I see him on campus, he's with a girl! Playa PLAYA!!!

| <life back in the burg>
after a long, but needed break from school, i, eric yi, master of
virginia tech, have made my triumphant return! *fanfare* ahem...anyway
school sucks. wow. getting up at 10am is so foreign to me, it's like
trying to speak french- je ne sais pas quelque chose. it isn't the
going to class and doing homework part so much as the showering and
smelling good for others that bothers me. i know that i look good with
my tight sweaters and baggy jeans, ladies, however i don't just wake up
that way. it takes a lot of work! you might have noticed that my head
is now shaved- i'll let you in on a little secret...i didn't do it for
looks...i did it cuz now, i can get away without showering for three
days in a row. just a couple rubs of deodorant on my armpits and cheeks
and voila!...i am complete.
living at 2300E is pretty cool. chip is worthless with his video
gaming. if he plays this much now, i don't even wanna think about how
much he played when he wasn't busy with school last semester. andy kim
does nothing: he wakes up in the morning, checks his websites:
sportsline.com, espn.com, niketalk.com, and vt webmail. then when he
comes back at home from school he repeats this habit and he does so
again every hour or so. o yeah, you can throw in a couple hours of tv
in there too. other than that, we have a lot of fun. ballin up at war
is crucial. i own andy all the time. we have lots of junk food at home.
all we need now at the apartment is a girl to make us some good food.
we played poker and i lost so i have to go out and find a girlfriend to
do that for us. which leads me to my last topic...
girls. yes. i did miss the girls at tech. no, i'm not exclusively
talking about ccf girls, i mean just girls in general. is it just me or
have the girls at tech gotten prettier? when i first came here back in
2003 there seemed to be a lot more guys than girls on campus. i guess
times have changed and a lot more girls are applying now. i guess an
admissions officer read the prank entry chip wrote for me earlier. it
just feels good to be around girls older than 13 and 14 from the All
Stars ministry, although it was fun discipling them. anyway, i'm 20 and
i've been thinking that if i want to marry by my target age of 24, i'd
better start looking now...and so the search begins...
i know this is long, but i will be issuing montly entries so they're
going to be fairly long. the point of this month's entry is: "i love
virginia tech. GO HOKIES!!"
